Lisa Thompson

Lisa R. Thompson, RPT, CPhT-Adv, BS, received her training as a Pharmacy Specialist in the US Army in 1985. She has worked over the past 38 years in various pharmacy settings as senior/lead technician. She received her certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) in 2001 and her Advanced Certification through NPTA in 2024. Lisa’s passion for education lead her to academia in 2001 and was elevated to the position of Program Director of Pharmacy Technician programs in Broward and Dade counties. She is also employed with an independent pharmacy practice and serves on various committees representing pharmacy technicians.
