PBMs and The Battle for Pharmacy’s Future

Biography

Benjamin Jolley has worked in independent community pharmacies since 2004, gaining experience in nearly every role—from delivery driver to pharmacist. With a passion for helping patients and providers navigate the complexities of pharmacy, Benjamin has led initiatives such as implementing medication synchronization programs at multiple pharmacies and serving as a student liaison to a national pharmacy society’s steering committee.

He has toured and collaborated with some of the highest-performing community pharmacies in the country and strongly believes in the power of community pharmacy to advance the triple aim of healthcare: improving patient experience, improving population health, and reducing costs.

Today, Benjamin also offers consulting services to help pharmacies better understand and navigate effective rate contracts (GER, BER, DFER) and DIR fees, equipping them with tools to thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape.
